Abbie and Vilka B had a fantastic ending to the year at Olympia, which saw her placed 2nd in the World Class Under 23 Championship. It was an extremely exciting class with 13 riders through to the jump-off. Joe Clayton set the pace with a tight turnback to the double. Numerous combinations faulted whilst attempting to beat the time. Abbie was second from last to go with the pressure on! She delivered a classy round with every tight turn possible to go into the lead. With a dramatic finish the last competitor shaved 0.04 seconds off Abbies time to take the class.

Abbie had an unbelievable show at the fantastic venue Bury Farm. Vilka was placed 7th in the first Grand prix qualifier (qualifying her for the £3000 Grand prix) and 5th in the second qualifier. Roland was placed 13th in the second qualifier qualifying him for the Grand prix. Abbie was drawn first to go in the 33 strong 145m Grand Prix. Vilka and Roland did super clears! Meaning Abbie had 2 in the jumpoff. Roland was really unlucky he had the first fence down in the jumpoff then did a lovely clear. Vilka who was drawn second from last to go did an amazing quick clear to go in to the lead! Last to go was Tim Stockdale (Abbies Trainer) the only one able to steal 1st place, luckily he had a fence! Abbie said “Vilka’s been jumping fantastic at the last few shows, she’s been going from strength to strength” Fantastic result!
Abbie had another successful show at Bury Farm. Roland took 7th place in the 140 A4 class, continuing to be very consistent putting us in good form for next year. Vilka B set a blistering time from the start to take the Professional Big Tour Grand Prix. Five went through to the jump-off but Abbie and Vilka were unbeatable, yet again!
